I’m Jeff Piccolo, my debut novel 'ORIGIN - Children of Sol' is by no means my first story, it is however the first story I've decided to publish. All my stories are fantasy with a touch of science fiction, I love stories where the ordinary world stands on the brink of something vast, ancient, and transformative. I have always believed that the greatest stories are not only about magic or imagined futures, but about the quiet moment before everything changes—the instant when a life brushes against forces far older, wider, and more powerful than itself. My work lives in that space, where wonder and danger walk side by side, and where choice, courage, and curiosity shape destiny. My storytelling is influenced by fantasy and science fiction in all their forms, from epic struggles and hidden worlds to tales that allow humour and warmth to exist alongside darkness. I value rhythm and timing as much as spectacle; a story should move like music, building toward moments that resonate long after the final note fades. I write with a mature voice, but with an enduring sense of awe. While my stories may involve magic, speculative ideas, or worlds beyond our own, they remain firmly rooted in the human experience—loss and hope, loyalty and defiance, and the unshakable pull of something greater calling from just beyond the horizon. When I’m not working, you'll find me reading short stories, revisiting favourite films (even musicals), or gathering fragments of ideas that may eventually demand to be written. I write fantasy and science fiction for readers who believe that stories still have the power to carry us beyond ourselves—and bring something meaningful back with us. |
